A month or so ago I got a info/registration card from the Leukemia and Lymphoma society regarding all of their fundraising walks/runs/hikes/triathalons and so forth. Of course my first course of action was to put it aside. I thought that my friends SJ had signed me up for the info. To date I found out that she did not, I just got the luck of the draw! Well I made up my mind to at least "listen" to what this thing is all about. This thing being the Chicago 1/2 Marathon. Fast forward to today....
I went to the meeting and I committed myself, I mean really. I got fitted for walking shoes, bought a new sports bra, special socks, a stopwatch...I am on fire for this. I feel sorry for myself though...I won't be able to fit all my cute clothes!!!!!!!!!! Arggggggh! Stay tuned people because extra fine Diva is on. the. way. For real this time.
